BLOWN SCRAPS
athens, 2025

Following on from “Toixnos, Wall-imprint” (MISC, 2023), the “Blown Scraps” series continues our approach of present archeology, considering contemporary civilization from its scraps, in the street. Scrutinizing the soil of Athens, we collect small objects or materials and preserve them from dumpsters and oblivion.
These relics are displayed for future generations in a curved, transparent vessel of blown glass, combining the breath of the craftsman with the continuous flow of the city, which is expressed by recovered circular metal parts.
